The Arrival 01:17
Lying on my back, waking with a gasp I stare at the suffocating clouds above me Pale whispers in my head, just who or what have I been? I have no memory of my arrival. I scramble to my feet, had I been running from something? Echoes lost in this endless sea of grey. Lifeless dunes roll forever in my mind, couldn't possibly find my way. This pit in my stomach I feel I've been chased Chased by some apparition Through time and space This specter haunting me Across these umbral plains The shadows lengthen and I begin to fear the worst The faintest suggestion Hollowing out my soul This grave abomination I brought upon myself

I heard it coming Creeping in from all around me The crushing desolation and the futility it leaves The unnerving revelation that this is all that could ever be. The final disorder of all forms It will all cease to be This will pass through the scarlet waves before me Intuition eradicates it as quickly as it came to be I've reached the absence Struggling to breathe In this void I see the truth, how it all comes undone The silence is whispering its incoherent ramblings Finally our names will vanish and the dust will have won This will pass through the scarlet waves before me Intuition eradicates it as quickly as it came to be This will pass through the golden days before me Intuition gives way to every fighting breath within me Did I really see the end, or was it in my mind? Is it all truly destined to whither away and die? If my vision clears and I see the other side Will my escape from this Smothering emptiness be Denied? Will this pass through the blackened skies before me? Pressed to cross this chasm a thousand lives wide Could I exist within this great divide? Could I outlast the end, the ravager of time?

Triad 01:16
Different parts with different means to different ends Once unified But too much damage over too much time The pieces tore away Be it by Land Order Temper Be it by Betrayal Ignorance Fatigue It crumbled so fast Volatile, complex minds Rotting each others' unstable cores All sides seek allegiance Be it by Hearsay Half-truths Lies Be it by Factions Call to arms Cries of war Three lives Three paths Three destinies

92698 Timelines intertwined Midnight silk flows Framing a star not soon forgotten Your familiar eyes travel My hand in tow Our emerald valley bathes in the violet sky below Your flaws are forgotten Your faults are forgiven Imperfection-free Rendering you incomplete Our emerald valley Will forever wait Timelines unraveling Tangled and suffocating The Foundation cracking The beginning is fading This ocean I built Childish dreaming Our emerald valley Crumbling fantasy Your flaws are forgotten Your faults are forgiven Imperfection-free Rendering you incomplete Our emerald valley Will forever wait Remove these nails from the splintering frame Let the whole thing reduce to ash Had I known what it was built upon I would have torched it to the ground myself

Halo 03:28
Unbridled fire Shimmering essence For one brief moment I was one with all Fragile ring of light I grasped too tight I couldn't contain it I lost it all Begging for its tangibility Awaiting my return to reality Halo Your light is far too bright for me But I have my burns and your name written in ash They serve their purpose They remain to remind Your monolithic beauty is as out of reach as it is divine
8.
Across the ages Vague instincts whispered Shadow catalyst buried deep Built to annihilate Long dormant gateways Hidden in the blood The cracked future Forged to decimate
9.
The flames of the desert always burn brighter when a conclusion has been reached The dying sands whisper through and the smoke is frowning upon The answer lies in the mirage Damaged and trying to survive I look into the blurred charade and I see where my black heart lies The surface of the bedrock always burns hotter when the truth is so close Trying to save myself When there is so little left The answer lies in the mirage Frothing and taunting and leering at me I strain to see my fate unfold My precious answer is the mirage The fires of the sand resonate louder throughout a time long dead The answer is clear and its caressing me But can you feel the searing heat? Am I evolving? The dreams had become my reality And I am just awakening The dunes of forever reaching toward me A thousand screams released My melting husk sheds away And my new flesh is freed
10.
Time and reason atrophy Circulating endlessly A road of discontent To wander in Infinity Fighting to reach an end Stand your eternal ground Drain away into the black Just to loop back around Bite the snake's tail Trying to End it before it transforms No more withdrawing, No more waiting Patiently, obediently Only to find I've done it again I promised myself It doesn't end It won't end It can't end
11.
Irrelevant fading specter Damned to your own delusions Bypassing life's portals Immobilized by your fears Fractured failing wraith Although you may deny You have a natural ability For manifesting lies I bide my time and hold my ideals high I was mistaken but I didn't fall far this time Your shamble through this desert Has truly sealed your fate And when you finally falter I'll feast on what is mine I've chased you to this point Gnawing on the back of your mind The shield of your denial Can only hide you so long I bide my time and hold my ideals high I was mistaken but I didn't fall far this time I feel your jaws and I will not yield I reject your accusations and embrace nothingness You're expected to take the path That path is lined with poison That road was lain before you Past it, I saw the depths of shame You used to yearn it The truth made me despise it So your choice is carved in stone? Until my grisly end You think this about you? Is my guilt not enough? How do you justify your hurtful words? I didn't really mean it... She will carry it to her grave I didn't know And the blame will be yours forever I didn't know

Wrong World 05:37
None of it fits Years of wandering found nothing This place is haunted with the shadows of what should have been Dreaming execution in other times Breathing vindication in former lives I missed it Every time, upon my return Its all broken The pieces dissolve in my eyes And I forget what they are Impossible shapes I try to absorb They reject me and dismantle all reason I was born into the wrong world It mangled my erratic DNA The very fabric of my being is laying waste to all around me I pierce through my surroundings In search of anything to validate me I once thought as a god In parallel lives, I was one I am not long for this plane I will be sure of it Detached from other living realms Disillusioned by the shades and their tricks Forgotten fabricated memories Left behind in the wrong world I demand escape Every shred of every thread of this paralyzed existence I will savagely rip apart Through the pain and absolution of death This reality and its scathing lies Will burn forever before me And I will resurrect As I was meant to be
